Crowds flocked to uptown New Westminster for the Hyack International Parade.
Young and old gathered on Sixth Street and Queens Avenue Saturday to watch nearly 100 entries, including floats, multicultural groups, mascots, and marching bands and military groups.
Visitors came from as far as Portland, Oregon, Tacoma and Wenatchee, Washington and Penticton, but many local businesses got into the act and participated in this year’s parade, which was held on May 23.
