Honour House Society will hold its second fundraising gala, "A Night for Heroes," on Saturday, June 1 at the Sheraton Wall Centre.
The gala event will raise funds for Honour House Society to continue to provide free accommodation to Canadian Forces personnel, emergency services and their families while receiving medical treatment in the Metro Vancouver area.
The gala will include dinner, a live auction and entertainment. The first Honour House gala fundraiser, which celebrated the opening of Honour House, included a live performance by Sarah McLachlan and raised $225,000 for the charity.
Honour House, located at 509 St. George St. in New Westminster, is a registered not-forprofit and charitable organization with a mandate to provide accommodation free of charge, to Canadian Forces personnel and emergency service workers.
