There's one New Westminster gas station that's offering less than $1.80 per litre ahead of the final weekend of July.
And, in the last two weeks, it's recorded the only price drop among local outlets.
The Centex and Fetch Panda on Ewen Avenue is offering fuel for $1.75 per litre, as of this publication, July 25, according to GasBuddy.com's latest report (see list below).
That's one cent cheaper than what it was on July 12 — $1.76 per litre — which was also the most affordable gas available.
It's also the second least expensive price in Metro Vancouver. The Mobil outlet at the Real Canadian Superstore in South Vancouver (350 SE Marine Dr.) is selling fuel for $1.74 per litre.
The biggest local jump in the last two weeks was four cents from $1.78 to $1.82 per litre at the 12th Street Petro-Canada.
New West's average gas price currently sits at $1.81 per litre — two cents more from $1.79 per litre on July 12.
Meanwhile, B.C.'s cheapest gas is not entirely far from New West.
The Centex and GOMarket in Dewdney — more than 65 km east along Lougheed Highway — has a listed price of $1.58 per litre. This is the only station in the province offering less than $1.60 per litre.
There are also five stops in Chilliwack selling fuel for $1.64 per litre.
