It appears gas prices in New Westminster are still on the weekly decline with some back below $2 per litre.
The Centex and GOMarket on Ewen Avenue is offering the current cheapest rate at $1.96 per litre, according to GasBuddy.com's latest report (see list below).
That's also the third lowest price for gas in all of Metro Vancouver behind the Canco on Fraser Highway through Surrey, which dipped five cents to $1.93 per litre, and Smart Gas on Canada Way in Burnaby at $1.94 per litre.
The biggest dip was nine cents at the Chevron on E 8th Avenue to $1.97 per litre, from $2.06.
As of this publication, May 10, three of New West's nine fuel outlets are priced less than $2 per litre.
As a result, the city's average has decreased by four cents to $2.01 per litre from $2.05.
Meanwhile, Quesnel currently hosts B.C.'s least expensive price for gas at $1.60 per litre at the city's Super Save Gas (914 Front St.).
The province's top 10 cheapest gas stations range from $1.60 to $1.69 per litre in the north-central and Okanagan regions.
