All but three of New Westminster's nine gas stations saw a weekly decrease in price ahead of the weekend.
The cheapest, however, remains unchanged at $1.69 per litre at Centex and GOMarket on Ewen Avenue according to GasBuddy.com's latest report.
That's considered to be one of the most affordable fuel stops in Metro Vancouver as of this publication, Dec. 8.
And it's only four cents less than the most expensive currently available at a rate of $1.73 per litre.
The biggest seven-day decline took place at three local outlets (see list below), dropping from $1.77 to $1.70 per litre.
New West's average price for fuel also dipped to $1.72 per litre — three cents less than $1.75 from last Friday, Dec. 1.
The most affordable gas in Metro Vancouver is $1.67 per litre, and can be found in at the 200 Street Super Save Gas in Langley.
Quesnel's Super Save Gas station, at $1.48, holds the title for a consecutive week as B.C.'s cheapest outlet, according to GasBuddy.com.
The Esso and Circle K along 1st Avenue in Chilliwack is the least expensive fuel within driving distance of New Westminster, offering exactly $1.50 per litre.
