New Westminster motorists will find some relief at the pumps ahead of the Remembrance Day long weekend.
GasBuddy.com's latest data lists $1.74 per litre at the Ewen Avenue Centex as the cheapest price for fuel in the city, as of this publication, Nov. 10.
That's a drop of a single cent compared to last Friday's, Nov. 3, low of $1.75 per litre.
And this is considered to be one of the lower prices for fuel in all of Metro Vancouver.
However, New West's average price for gas has gone up to $1.77 per litre, which is three cents more from last week.
Most outlets experienced a one-cent increase or decrease this week, while some rose by four cents to bring the new median.
The cheapest fuel in B.C. is being pumped for Costco cardholders in Kamloops at $1.59 per litre.
The next best price, however, isn't necessarily far away, according to GasBuddy.com, as Petro Canada along Fraser Highway in Abbotsford is offering $1.60 per litre.
The rest of the top 10 best gas prices in the province are either in the interior, in the north or on Vancouver Island, ranging from $1.61 to $1.63 per litre.
