Gas prices in New Westminster are still posted at $1.80 per litre or less.
However, the least expensive available, as of this publication, Oct. 27, has gone up by six cents in the last seven days.
GasBuddy.com says three New West stations are offering 1.77 per litre, but that's a drop of three and two cents respectively for the Sixth Street Chevron and Sixth Avenue Esso (see below for more).
As a result, the city's average price for fuel has risen slightly to $1.79 per litre.
Despite the increase, that number is still considered one of the lowest in Metro Vancouver.
The cheapest gas in all of B.C. is priced at $1.59 per litre — and you may not have to drive incredibly far to find it.
Three outlets in Abbotsford are currently offering that number: Petro-Canada off Fraser Highway, and the CO-OPs on Fraser Highway and Blue Jay Street.
