New Westminster gas prices are continuing to dip as predicted by experts since refinery maintenance was finished south of the border.
In fact, the local station offering the current cheapest fuel dropped its price by 12 cents from last Friday, Oct. 13, according to GasBuddy.com's latest data.
Centex on Ewen Avenue is listing $1.71 per litre, as of this publication, Oct. 20.
That number is a decrease of five cents compared to $1.76 per litre seven days earlier as the least expensive in all of New West.
Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, recently told Glacier Media that gas prices were likely to continue this downward trend heading into mid-November.
New West gas stations are averaging $1.76 per litre, according to GasBuddy.com.
The cheapest price for gas in the Lower Mainland is $1.69 per litre at three stations, including Super Save in Langley, and the Canco and Chevron in Aldergrove.
Further east, the Esso and Circle K in Chilliwack hosts the least expensive fuel in B.C. at $1.57.
