For drivers in New West, there seems to be no relief in sight. 

Gas prices keep soaring past $2 per litre in many gas stations across New West — with the cost at some pumps up to $2.079 per litre.

While the cheapest gas in the province is the Super Save in Prince George at $1.619 per litre, gas at pumps across New West is selling at an average of $2.063 per litre — 44 cents higher. 

The Metro Vancouver average stands at $2.053 per litre as of 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 11.
