If long drives were in the cards for you this B.C. Day long weekend — prepare to stretch your wallet.
New West's gas prices dipped in the last two weeks, hovering at around $1.90 per litre. However, the prices have once again spiked — with many pumps standing at $2.069 per litre.
The cheapest gas in the province is the Super Save in Prince George at $1.639 per litre.
Gas at pumps across New West, however, is selling at an average of $2.043 per litre.
The Metro Vancouver average stands at $2.024 per litre as of 3 p.m. on Aug. 4.
