The New Westminster Police Department is asking for help finding 61-year-old Douglas Thornburn after his fiancé reported him missing earlier this week.
He was last seen July 25 at around 5:30 p.m. at home on the 100 block of Jardine Street in New West. He is 5 foot 10, with short grey and brown hair, and was last seen wearing a black or beige T-shirt and dark blue shorts.
“We are asking the public to help us locate Mr. Thornburn to ensure his safety,” said Sgt. Jeff Scott in a press release. “Investigators are actively looking for him and are seeking public’s assistance in locating him.”
Police don’t believe his is a risk to himself, but his family and friends are concerned and want to make sure he is okay.
