A New West dog owner is appealing to community members to be on the lookout for a runaway dog who is sporting a light grey sweater.

Annabel Dobrovolny was volunteering at the youth drop-in in downtown New West on Tuesday night, when her dog Milo escaped through an open door. The New West resident is devastated after searching unsuccessfully all night long for Milo.

Milo was last seen on the evening of Dec. 6 at the New Westminster SkyTrain station. He was also spotted in the vicinity of Stewardson Way and Third Avenue (near Steel & Oak Brewing Co.).

The Italian Greyhound is described as being “lighting fast”. Anyone who spots Milo is asked to call or text with a location or, even better, coax him with food and pick him up.

The three-year-old dog is described as being skittish, and will likely flee if approached.

If you see Milo call or text 778-789-1363 or 604-790-8558.
