Four New Westminster residents were taken into custody early Saturday morning in connection with a stabbing at a local SkyTrain station.
At about 12:30 a.m. on April 18, police were called to the New Westminster SkyTrain station for reports of a man “bleeding profusely” near the station, according to a media release from police.
The victim, an 18-year-old Surrey resident, was taken to hospital with multiple stab wound, the release added.
New Westminster’s major crime unit took over the investigation, which led officers to a home in New Westminster. Four suspects at the home were taken into custody.
At this time, the Record is waiting for update on the victim’s condition and whether or not charges have been laid against the four suspects.
