A red-flanked bluetail bird that's been spotted in Queen's Park in New Westminster was first identified on Jan. 13, not Feb. 13 as recently reported in The Record.

The bird, which was found Jan. 13 by Colin McKenzie and later confirmed by George Clulow and Mike Toochin, remained in the local park as of Jan. 20. People from as far away as Ontario and Oregon have visited the park to see the bird.
