New to YOu 7
You never know what you'll find when you shop at thrift stores - and now's a perfect time to explore some local shops participating in the Burnaby/New West Thrift Store Crawl.

What’s happening?

Thrifters (and anyone looking for some good deals or unique finds) are invited to check out six thrift stores in Burnaby and New Westminster that are taking part in the return of the Burnaby/New West Thrift Store Crawl. In addition to finding some deals, shoppers will also be supporting a wide variety of local causes.

The folks at BASES Family Thrift Store launched the thrift Store Crawl in July 2018 as a way of bringing customers into the stores – and increasing public awareness about the causes they support, and showing how they’re giving back to the local community.

How to participate:

After picking up a stamp card from any of the participating stores, shoppers will visit all six stores and get their card stamped. Once the card is filled up, they can drop it off at their favourite thrift store.

Did someone say prizes?

Folks who submit completed stamp cards will be entered to win gift baskets from their favourite stores (valued at about $20) as well as the grand prize – a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from every store that’s taking part in this year’s event.
