On display in the ramp gallery is Melissa Duncan's Spirits of the Season.

Her nine digital prints are of detailed and often surreal drawings and watercolors. They celebrate all things October with themes of mortality, harvest and superstition.

In the reference department, visitors can enjoy nature through the eyes of the Garden Gals in their show Larger Than Life.

Formed through their common interest in gardening, this sketch club is part of the New Westminster Horticultural Society.

Displaying this year are Merril Hall, Silvana McNulty, Betty DesPres, Ursula McNamara, Linda Cant, Susan Tamkin, Karen Low, Carolyn Mclaughlin and Jacqueline Shephard.

The art can be viewed at any time during the library's regular hours at 716 Sixth Ave., uptown.
