The Arts Council of New Westminster is reminding movie fans that it's time to cash in on the early-bird price for the Last Monday at the Movies series.
The council is offering Last Monday at the Movies for $60 from now until Sept. 7. The cost includes nine award-winning movies selected from international film catalogues.
To secure your pass, visit the council's office in Queen's Park, open from Tuesday to Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m., or call 604-525-3244 and reserve a pass, or email info@artscoun cilnewwest.org.
Those who purchase passes by phone or email will find their passes waiting for them at the Massey Theatre Box Office on opening night, Monday, Sept. 30, states an arts council press release.
The opening night feature, Sept. 30, is Still Mine. The film is described in the press release as an affecting and sensitive film about the bond between a man and his wife as they enter the twilight of their lives, and is nominated for seven Canadian Screen Awards.

The Arts Council's Last Monday at the Movies presentations start at 7:30 p.m. at the Massey Theatre where there is free parking.
