A man was uninjured when he lost control of his car and crashed into a boulder outside Royal City Manor last week.
When officers and firefighters arrived at the scene around 2 p.m. on April 22, they found a vehicle balanced on two wheels on top of a boulder above the parking lot at Royal City Manor, explained acting Sgt. Jeff Scott, spokesperson for the New Westminster Police Department.
The driver, in his early 80s, sustained no injuries during the crash. Alcohol has been ruled out as a contributing factor to the crash, and the car “appeared to be in good working order,” noted Scott.
