Police are searching for the identity of a man who allegedly robbed a taxi driver back in July. According to a release from New West police, the taxi driver picked up the suspect at about 4 a.m. on July 27.

Police are searching for the identity of a man who allegedly robbed a taxi driver back in July.

According to a release from New West police, the taxi driver picked up the suspect at about 4 a.m. on July 27. He was instructed to take the man to an undisclosed place in New Westminster but when the driver arrived at the location, the suspect allegedly threatened the driver with a knife and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, 20 to 25 years old and six feet tall with a thin build. At the time of the alleged robbery, the suspect was wearing a dark ball hat, sunglasses, a black shirt and dark shorts.
