Update: Regular SkyTrain service restored in New Westminster

Train service is now returning to normal after an earlier medical emergency.
SkyTrain commuters are warned of disruption tonight (May 25) as a medical emergency has closed New Westminster station, TransLink says.

A medical emergency at New Westminster SkyTrain station has been resolved, and regular train service is resuming.

An earlier medical emergency at the station had seen SkyTrain service to New West cancelled.

TransLink has now restored service to the station, according to a TransLink update at 5:13 p.m.

Single-track operation had been in effect at New Westminster station as of 5 p.m., with some additional bus service in place at Columbia, New Westminster, 22nd Street and Edmonds stations.
