New Westminster Chamber of Commerce directors heard from Opposition leader Adrian Dix at a meeting held recently in Vancouver.

Chamber director Frank Gregus and executive director Cori Lynn Germiquet were among the group of business leaders who listened to Dix lay out his priorities, which include B.C.'s poor performance in productivity, the increasing divide and inequality of the "have and have nots" in the province, and the need to commit to a sustainability strategy, said a press release from the chamber.

"The New Westminster Chamber of Commerce attended the meeting with an arsenal of questions for the leader," Gregus said in the release.

"Unfortunately, time did not allow for Mr. Dix to address our questions, but Cori Lynn was able to share our written questions with his colleague Ms. Jenny Kwan, opposition critic for jobs, economic development and trade."

They also used the meeting as a chance to invite Kwan and Dix to the chamber's upcoming economic forum on Nov. 8.
