Parenting skills, a presentation by REACH Multicultural Family Centre, at New Westminster Public Library, 716 Sixth Ave., will provide information on parenting and family relationship issues for newcomers to Canada. Differences between eastern and western styles of parenting, which may present challenges for parents and youth facing a new culture, will be discussed. Program runs from 1 to 3 p.m. and will be conducted in English, with translation available in French, Chichewa, Nyanja, Lingala and Swahili.
