Follow in artist Georgia O'Keeffe's footsteps to New Mexico, at the travel show at the New Westminster Public Library. Gayle Mavor will lead an armchair trip to Santa Fe, Taos and Ghost Ranch, where O'Keeffe spent the second half of her life. Mavor's own experience of the area, through photographs, is interspersed with anecdotes about O'Keeffe's life. Travel show takes place at 2: 30 p.m., in library auditorium, 716 Sixth Ave. The library is wheelchair accessible. The library and the University Women's Club of New Westminster co-sponsor the travel shows. The show runs again on Wednesday, April 10 at 7: 30 p.m.

The Westminster Church Choir and friends, present I Will Rise, a musical, which offers some of today's most popular worship songs blended with many of the church's most beloved hymns, 7: 15 p.m., Westminster SDA Church, 7925 10th Ave. Burnaby (enter from 11th Avenue off Sixth Street - just across the New Westminster border). Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security Information, overview of eligibility requirements, types of benefits available, benefits for low-income seniors and changes to the CPP will be discussed, followed by a question-and-answer period, 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Women needed, to serve as support and outreach volunteers for the Maida Duncan Drop-In Centre run by the Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver. Volunteers assist clients with finding and phoning shelters or housing, understanding and filling in forms, sorting donations and doing light cleaning. Shift minimum of two hours per week.
