Art displays at the New Westminster Public Library, 716 Sixth Ave. In the reference department, New Westminster photographer Gabor Gasztonyi is showing some of the results of his seven-year project to photograph people in their homes in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. On the ramp, Shirley Hargreaves is displaying watercolours of still life, florals and landscapes. The art can be viewed at any time during library hours.

What To Do Next, a four-person visual art exhibition that focuses on why artists choose to create what they do. The exhibit is on the second floor of the River Market, 810 Quayside Dr. and runs until April 21. Featured artists are Judith Copland, Norm Coridor, Rob Fee and Irene Lacharite.

Free income tax clinics, New Westminster Public Library each Friday afternoon in March and April. The clinics are offered to recent permanent residents (five years or less) who have low income for the 2011 filing. Appointments are required.
