Don't be stressed, learn how to manage stress at a workshop at the New Westminster Public Library from 10 a.m. to noon.

Learn how to adjust to new environments, how to improve your quality of life and how to develop stress management skills. Workshop conducted in English, with translation available in French, Chichewa, Nyanja, Lingala and Swahili.

HUB presents streetwise cycling course, from noon to 4: 30 p.m. at the Centennial Community Centre, 65 East Sixth Ave. The course teaches safe bicycling skills through classroom and on-road training. To register, go to bikehub.ca/ streetwise.

Glenbrooke North Residents Association, 13th annual garage sale, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. ReduceReuseRecycle, de-clutter your home and make money, too. Come and find a great deal while getting to know your neighbours. Donations gratefully accepted for Monarch Place, a local transition house offering shelter and support to women and children fleeing violence.
