The New Westminster board of education has brought in a recruiting company to help it find a replacement for outgoing superintendent John Woudzia.
The board is engaging in a two-step process to hire a new superintendent, says an update from the district. The plan is to establish an interim replacement in the short term, until a new superintendent is hired, according to the district.
The board has contracted the services of GoFutureHR Inc. to lead the search for a replacement for a new superintendent.
Meanwhile, Woudzia is slated to start his new position as vice-president of education and student services at Vancouver Community College (VCC) on Feb. 3. He has been the district’s superintendent for more than eight years.
