The Burnaby Lake Rugby Club is the men's and women's B.C. Seven Series champions for the third straight season.
The Burnaby women wrapped up their third consecutive title with a recent win over runner-up Abbotsford in the final of the elite women's division at the Bayside 7s, the last stop on the summer series tour on Aug. 10. The men's team also took top spot in the four-tournament series despite not making the elite men's final in Bayside.
Men's finalists Bayside and Abbotsford both finished in an overall tie for runner-up, four points behind Burnaby Lake.
