Blazer with “items of significant value” found at New West thrift store

Police hope to reunite the items with their owner

If you’re missing some “items of significant value” after donating clothes to Value Village, the New Westminster police are hoping to return them to you.

On Jan. 11, police learned that a grey RW&CO. blazer that had been donated to a thrift store had items of significant value inside the pocket. Police would like to return the blazer and its contents to their owner.

“This is a great reminder to check your pockets before donating any items to the thrift store,” said NWPD spokesperson Sgt. Sanjay Kumar. “Please take a close look at this blazer to see if it is yours. We’re hoping to find who the rightful owner of this blazer is and return these items to them.”

Police say the blazer was found at the Value Village store in Queensborough, but it’s unclear where the donation was originally made.

The size 48 blazer is grey with a white pinstripe and it has a blue lining. If this blazer is yours, call the New Westminster Police Department at 604-525-5411.
