A familiar face to many British Columbians recently visited the Royal City to lend support to a political campaign.

Former CTV news anchor Pamela Martin attended a Ladies Event with the Bremners. Held at Lorraine Brett's home, the gathering gave locals a chance to mingle and support Hector Bremner, who will run for the B.C. Liberals in May's provincial election.

"We were really happy to have a packed house," Bremner said of the event organized by his wife Virginia. "We had a really great mix of people."

Martin was a member of the team that supported Christie Clark's bid for Liberal leader.
