The West End Business Association is bringing back the 12th Street Music Festival and promises it will be twice the size of past years' festivals.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Sixth Avenue and 12th Avenue.

Some of the artists booked for this year's four stages include Sami Ghawi, Maffie and Crew, tribute band Really Rod Stewart, and Rainshadow.

Beyond the music, there will be a "festival of wheels," heritage tours hosted by Archie and Dale Miller and information booths set up by local community services.

The Kid Zone features pony rides, a dunk tank, a bouncy castle, craft making and its own stage with five kid-oriented bands scheduled to play.

Also back is the plethora of food options including a pig roast, ethnic foods and the popular Kiwanis cedar plank salmon.
