The Network Hub's New Westminster campus at the River Market is hosting a Freelance Camp on Sept. 15.

The sessions will focus on topics ranging from how to set up a consultancy and use marketing to attract clients, to public relations, accounting for "solopreneurs" and more.

Freelance Camp's relaxed environment encourages discussion, interaction and the open exchange of ideas, said a press release from the Network Hub, which offers workspace to entrepreneurs.

The event is geared toward developers, designers, accountants, bloggers/journalists, realtors, lawyers, carpenters, engineers, financial advisors, marketers, musicians, artists, etc., the release says.

"We encourage all types of owners to come to provide a balanced perspective," the release says.

The camp costs $15 and all of the proceeds go toward charity. Admission to Freelance Camp includes lunch and 100 free mini business cards from moo.com.
