The Newtwork Hub has a Vancouver location as well.

The business offers a variety of options for workspace rental in an open concept office.

Since opening, the New West campus has grown to 28 part-time and full-time members.

The campus is seeing a great demand for private workspaces, with nine businesses and associations currently on the waiting list to use the space, according to an update from the company.

Offering more than a co-working space, The Network Hub also hosts events and social meetups. For more information, visit http: //www. thenetworkhub.ca.

RIVER OF FUN

Speaking of the River Market, the team there was pleased with the turnout for the Country Fair fundraiser held the last weekend of June.

"Everyone said they had a very enjoyable time and were pleased that proceeds from a fun weekend were going towards a good cause," said a media release from Melissa Balfour, River Market events coordinator. "Thursday night's 150 and Going Strong had everyone dancing, eating tasty food and playing carnival games. Dale and Archie Miller did a wonderful presentation on the hospital for us, which really tied in well with our theme for the evening. Pacific Breeze Winery were wonderful sponsors of the event, and their participation was hugely appreciated."

Friday night was a bit more casual and laid back as people dropped in to catch Footloose (the original movie) on the "big screen" set up inside the market, Balfour wrote.

"Re-Up BBQ created a special popcorn that was popped in bacon fat leading to several twitter jokes about a Bacon with Bacon evening," she said. "Saturday saw square dance volunteers perform as well as a Jazz Quintet from NWSS that truly rocked the house.

"Our very own Vancouver Circus School performed to an eager crowd and outside KJM Urban Gardens we had very special animal visitors from the main KJM location."

Re-Up BBQ also held a super spicy chili-eating contest.

"I think the most pleasant surprise of the weekend was that 77 people came to Sunday's pancake breakfast at the Paddlewheeler Pub," Balfour said. "We weren't sure how many would attend due to its early time and it being Canada Day, but families and friends showed up to support RCH and the wonderful staff at Paddlewheeler Pub were kept very busy."

The fundraising marathon raised $3,000 in support of Royal Columbian Hospital families whose newborns receive care at the neonatal intensive care unit.
