The WITNESS exhibition at New Media Gallery has inspired students in the bachelor of performing arts program at Douglas College.
Students in the program, billed as the Broken Picture Artists Company, have created two performances based on difference interpretations of the themes in WITNESS.
The first performance, Undisclosed, is set for Thursday, Oct. 20 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The show invites the audience to explore the fine line between curiosity and invasion of privacy.
The second performance, Agency Reports, is set for Friday, Oct. 21 from noon to 2 p.m. It’s made up of multiple vignettes created in response to stories generated by the Agency at the End of Civilization installation.
