Ever wondered how an artist works? 100 Braid Street Studios is giving people a chance to meet local artists in their studios during its First Saturday Open Art Studios events.

The next one is coming up this Saturday, Feb. 2, from noon to 5 p.m.

People of all ages are invited to drop in to the art studio – located in a historic former winery – and check out the artists’ working studios, ask questions and learn about what they do. Resident artists (who may or may not be on site) include Judy Villett, Iris Mes Low, Fran Freisen, Cliff Blank, Victoria Klassen, Susan L. Greig and Michael King.

Refreshments are also available. It’s free. You can find more information at www.100braidststudios.com.

And, if you can’t make it this Saturday, be sure to note future open studios on your calendar. They’re also happening March 2, April 6 and May 4.
