Are you an artist looking to practise your drawing skills?

New West Artists can help.

The art group’s new gallery, at 712C 12th St., hosts drawing sessions on Wednesdays from 1 to 3 p.m., for a drop-in fee of $2. It’s non-instructional, and you need to bring your own art supplies.

There’s also an upcoming life drawing session, with an undraped female model, on Tuesday, May 7 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. It’s also non-instructional, and you should bring your own easel and art supplies. That session has a $12 drop-in fee, and those who want to take part should RSVP to 604-525-4566 or email [email protected].
