Ever been to a disastrous Christmas concert? Got your tongue stuck licking a frosty pole? Cried in the bathroom of your annual office party? Stormed out of your family gift-opening yelling “I just can’t take it!”?

Then this is the seasonal show for you.

Way Off-Broadway Wednesdays is winding down for the year with A Very Campy Christmas on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the Heritage Grill.

The show is presented by the feminist sketch comedy duo Pack Animals – featuring Victoria’s Holly Brinkman and Saskatoon’s S.E. Grummett. It promises to feature puppet pageantry, campfire songs and untrimmed trees in a night of “subversive seasonal cheer.”

“A Very Campy Christmas will be the LGBTQ+, vaudeville, wacky sing-song show of your feminist dreams,” a press release says.

Doors to the back room open at 6:30 p.m., with showtime at 7 p.m. Admission is on a pay-what-you-want basis, and reservations are recommended at 604-759-0819.

See www.facebook.com/wayoffwed for all the details.
