Tina Turner fans, check this one out … the Queen of Rock herself may not be coming to New West, but this is certain to be the next best thing.
Award-winning tribute artist Luisa Marshall is bringing her Tina Turner show to the stage at the Massey Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 8 p.m.
Marshall has performed her act around the world and on such high-profile gigs as the Oprah and Ellen shows, since rising to international acclaim by winning a world rock’n’roll tribute artist championship in 2003.
She’ll bring to the stage many of Turner’s hits – remember Private Dancer, Proud Mary, Simply the Best, What’s Love Got to Do With It and We Don’t Need Another Hero, just to name a few? – and she’ll also share the spotlight with special guests Jenni Doyle as Shania Twain and Bill Pantazis as George Michael.
