If there’s a young person in your house who loves theatre, be sure to save the date for this one.
The Stage Musical Theatre Academy is offering up its second annual StageFest, a celebration of young people in performing arts. The festival includes performances by the school’s junior acting, junior musical theatre and intermediate musical theatre production classes, as well as the ballet, tap and creative dance classes.
It will be onstage Thursday, June 6 through Sunday, June 9 at the Anvil Centre, 777 Columbia St.
Included in the festival will be three productions: Charlotte’s Web, Honk! Jr. and The Many Disguises of Robin Hood.
Charlotte’s Web is onstage June 7 at 7 p.m., June 8 at 5:30 p.m. and June 9 at 2:30 p.m. Honk! Jr. is onstage June 6 at 7 p.m., June 8 at 5 p.m. and June 9 at 4 p.m. Robin Hood is on June 6 at 5:30 p.m., June 7 at 5:30 p.m. and June 9 at 1 p.m.
The festival also includes a dance recital on June 8 at 1:30 p.m.
