Get ready to channel your inner Dancing Queen in support of the NWSS musical theatre program at a sing-along Mamma Mia! screening Friday, Jan. 6.

Honey, honey, if you have a dream of being a dancing queen, then get ready to lay all your love on the New Westminster Secondary School musical theatre program tomorrow night.

The program is hosting a sing-along screening of Mamma Mia! in the theatre at NWSS (820 Sixth St.) on Friday, Jan. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Candy, popcorn, sodas and other treats will be available for purchase.

The movie screening is by donation, with a minimum donation of $2.

But, if you’d like to support the NWSS musical theatre program’s production of Shrek the Musical, coming to the stage this March, then be a super trouper and get ready to fork over money, money, money — because, when all is said and done, if you take a chance on them, they’ll be able to thank you for the music.

Mamma mia, that’s a lot of gratuitous ABBA song references! It’s time to stop now or the newsroom will be sending out an SOS as what’s left of my journalistic credibility keeps slipping through my fingers …
