Remember VanDeca? The New Westminster-based vocal ensemble is bringing its own fresh take on choral music back to the stage.
The ensemble is staging its spring concert, Dance With Me!, on Sunday, June 3 at 2 p.m. at Heritage Hall on Main Street in Vancouver. The concert – as its name suggests – features dance tunes from around the world, with a little bit of everything from tango to techno.
“VanDeca’s numbers are complex, emotional and full of energy,” says a write-up from the choir. “We will also welcome guest performances from dancers in multiple genres and choral-ography from a talented VanDeca alumnus.”
