The next Poetic Justice New Westminster event is set for Sunday, March 12, online.

Love poetry? You're invited to attend the next online edition of Poetic Justice in New Westminster.

Carol Johnson hosts the poetry reading session on Sunday, March 12 from 3 to 5 p.m.

It features poets Ruth Kozak and Paul Raworth Bennett, and there's an open mic session, too. If you want to share your poems, sign-up starts at 2:50 p.m.

If you just want to listen, you're also welcome to attend to hear from Kozak and Bennett.

A write-up about the event notes that Kozak is a travel and historical fiction writer who sometimes writes poetry. Her soon-to-be-published current novel, Dragons in the Sky, is partially written in Bardic verse. She has been a guest on Co-op Radio’s Wax Poetic and a past guest reader at Poetic Justice. She has poems published in Sudden Thunder, an anthology by Silver Bow Publishing. She has also published her collection of poems written in Greece, Songs for Erato, available on Amazon and Kindle.

Bennett, meanwhile, is described as "a creative writer, ardent wordsmith, oddball humorist, outdoors enthusiast, all-weather cyclist, proud father, fortunate friend, and lucky survivor of youthful tomfoolery." Bennett has yet to publish formally, but he’s enjoying tinkering with various poetic styles, "building a fledgling corpus of literary flotsam and jetsam on Instagram and in his blog, Verbalis Neurotica.
