The Arts Council of New Westminster’s film series winds up its season at Massey Theatre on Monday, June 25 with a screening of Finding Your Feet.

For fans of British film, it promises to be a fun outing. The movie, if you aren’t familiar with it, tells the story of ‘Lady’ Sandra Abbott (Imelda Staunton), who discovers that her husband of 40 years is having an affair with her best friend, and so seeks refuge with her estranged, bohemian sister (Celia Imrie). After Bif drags Sandra to a community dance class – well, the fun begins.

Last Mondays movies start at 7:30 p.m., and doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $9 for general admission, or $8 for students and seniors, available in advance through www.ticketsnw.ca or at the door (cash only).
