Lovers of short stories, don’t miss the next Tellers of Short Tales night.
The Royal City Literary Arts Society runs the monthly series at Anvil Centre, and the next session is set for Thursday, March 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Room 417.
This month’s session features Aislinn Hunter, a poet, essayist and novelist who is the author of seven books – three books of poetry, three books of fiction and a book of lyric essays. Her poetry book Linger, Still, was the winner of the Royal City Literary Arts Society’s 2018 Fred Cogswell Award.
There’s also an open mic portion so that you can share your own short stories, if you’re so inclined.
Anvil Centre is at 777 Columbia St. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. See www.rclas.com for more details.
