The Art of Living Well, presentation at the New Westminster Public Library, 7 p.m. The presentation is designed to provide you with the tools to discover how you can change your life and help you combat lifestyle diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. Dr. Wayne Jakeman will lead you through recent developments in the science of nutrition, movement and thinking which will allow you to achieve abundant health and well being. The Art of Living Well is co-sponsored by the University Women's Club of New Westminster and the New Westminster Public Library. Glenbrooke North Residents Association, 14th annual garage sale, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Association is calling on all sellers and buyers to reduce, reuse and recycle. Donations are being accepted for Monarch Place, a local transition house offering shelter and support for women and children fleeing violence.

An evening of Gospel Music, 7:15 p.m., Westminster SDA Church, 7925 10th Ave., Burnaby, with entrance on 11th Avenue off Sixth Street. Concert is designed for people of all ages and denominations. Seating is limited and available on a first come first served basis. Freewill offering will be taken. Concert is a fundraiser for ADRA Canada, a humanitarian agency that seeks to empower the power around the world and in Canada with resources, skills and opportunities to live a better life with dignity and hope.
