No need to go to Nashville - all the queens of country are coming right here to New Westminster.
Tickets are on sale for Bonnie Kilroe's Country Queens, which takes to the stage at the Massey Theatre on Friday, Aug. 30.
Kilroe's one-woman show brings to life such country legends as Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Crystal Gayle and Dolly Parton.
She charms her way through favourites including Lynn's Coal Miner's Daughter, Tammy Wynette's Stand By Your Man, Cline's Crazy and Tanya Tucker's Delta Dawn, among many others.
"Kilroe's performance of Dolly Parton's classic 9 to 5 definitely kicsk things up a notch, and the audience-included A Lil' Ole Bitty Pissant Country Place is always a rip-roarin' crowd-pleaser," a press release promises.
Kilroe's show includes a multimedia presentation and encourages audience participation.
Doors open at 7 p.m., with show at 7:30 p.m.
