The celebrations continue today (Friday, Dec. 28) and tomorrow, with free performance, arts, craft and heritage activities from 1 to 5 p.m. and a couple of ticketed evening events.
Today’s free fun (Dec. 28) features Yoga for Children starting at 1 p.m., a DJ workshop with DJ Stormcloudz at 2:45 p.m., music by DJ Stormcloudz at 3:15 p.m. and live jazz with the Will Clements Trio at 4 p.m.
At 7 p.m., you can enjoy Hot in Here: A Femme Forward Dance Party, with DJ Softieshan. That’s at 7 p.m. in the theatre on the third floor, and tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for seniors/students/children.

Tomorrow, for the final day of the Winter Celebrations, you can catch music by David Fretter at 1 p.m., as well as a 1 p.m. pomander workshop.
At 1:30 p.m., there’s live storytelling, then vocalist Elizabeth Irving takes the stage at 2 p.m. At 2:45 p.m., catch a fashion show by Ash & Grove, followed by winter readings by the Royal City Literary Arts Society at 3:30 p.m.
The whole event closes with a family ceilidh at 7 p.m. in the theatre – featuring music by Blackthorn, along with a dance lesson and a caller so that everyone can take part. General admission tickets are only $5.
Plus, everyone in the family can enjoy a chance to walk the luminary labyrinth created by artist Omanie Elias, in the main-floor lobby at Anvil Centre.
