It’s the kind of magic that happens once in a blue moon.
New Westminster residents are invited to experience a performance of circus, dance and magic at Blue Moon, running Thursday, Aug. 30 at the Metro in New Westminster.
Blue Moon features live music from electro-pop duo Destineak, plus acts by circus artists, dancers and magicians who have performed around the world. The audience will enjoy acrobats, contortionists and mentalists, including the acrobatic duo Duo San Samaara and circus aerialist Sylvia Louis.
“Our hope is to bring more circus arts to our vibrant hub here in the Lower Mainland so anyone great and small can experience the innovation, creativity and awe-inspiring wonder of what the human body can create when it knows no bounds and burns with limitless energy,” the organizers said in a release about the event.
