If you didn’t attend A New West Summer Night’s Dream, you missed out on a great event.
Coun. Jaimie McEvoy is giving a rave review to the event and kudos to the kids who organized the June 23 event that started at the Canada Games Pool parking lot and featured a procession into the Glenbrook Ravine. The free community event, held to mark the solstice, featured a marching band, performances throughout the ravine by local artists and a variety of students and groups from NWSS.
“It was absolutely fabulous,” McEvoy said. “It’s going to happen next year, and you are going to want to attend. It was a really amazing event that they put on.”
