Labour Day has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean summer’s over. There’s still time to enjoy outdoor activities around town – and there’s indoor action worth checking out as well. Here is The Record’s list of Top Five (or More) Things to Do This Weekend for Sept. 5 to 7.

1.  Take in a performance by Revolver at the Columbia Theatre on Friday, Sept. 5. As part of the Beatles’ 50th anniversary, the tribute band is taking to the stage at the Columbia this weekend. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 plus service fees and available at www.thecolumbia.ca.

2.  Browse the wares of jewelers, knitters and crafters who are taking part in the Artisans At River Market Artisans Fair. It’s happening on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at River Market, 810 Quayside Dr.

3.  Celebrate community at the Welcome Barbecue and Street Dance, hosted by Olivet Baptist Church on Sunday, Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event includes kids’ activities, line dancing and zumba led by Janice Stevens of Dance With Me New West, and food – $2 hotdogs and burgers, free corn, apples and drinks. It’s all happening on Queens Avenue, where the street will be closed to traffic between Sixth and Seventh streets.

4.  Head outdoors for a walk and enjoy the sights around town. With sunny skies forecast this weekend and fall soon to arrive, it’s the perfect time to enjoy a stroll through one of the city’s many beautiful parks.

5.  Join artist Lam Wong as he investigates the mysteries of memory and perception as they relate to art objects and their viewers in his new exhibit, 21 Elements. The exhibition is taking place at the Arts Council Gallery in Queen’s Park until Sept. 27. The gallery, located in Centennial Lodge, is open Tuesday to Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. and is closed Mondays.
