1. Check out the stellar lineup of items for sale at the Royal City Gogos’ annual Artisan Craft Fair, featuring local handmade fashion accessories, jewelry, food, soft furnishings, gifts and more. It’s on Friday, Nov. 1 (4 to 8 p.m.), Saturday, Nov. 2 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Sunday, Nov. 3 (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) at 326 12th St.

2. Shop for treasures at the Century House Association’s annual craft sale and tea on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 620 Eighth St. Pottery, hand quilting, original artwork, variety crafts, baked goods, books and jewelry are among the items for sale. It also includes a white elephant area, an afternoon tea and raffles.

3. Head to Massey Theatre for the New Westminster Symphony Orchestra’s Do I Hear a Waltz? concert on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m., 735 Eighth Ave. Admission is by donation.

4. Support New West Artists and enjoy a night out at the group’s fundraising concert, featuring the music of Bob Westfall Moonlight Poet with Jim Ferguson and opening act Bushy Park. It’s on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m. (doors at 7 p.m.) at 712C 12th St. Limited seating is available, so tickets ($20) can be pre-purchased at the New West Artists’ gallery or at Renaissance Books or by calling 604-525-4566.

5. Enjoy a beer and check out High Voltage, an art exhibition featuring neon works by artist Cameron Clow. The artist will attend the launch on Friday, Nov. 1 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Another Beer Co., 30 Capilano Way.

6. Attend the launch of Angel Edwards’ book, Spirits Dressed Up As Poems. New Westminster poet laureate emerita Candice James is hosting this event, which includes music and more. It’s on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Anvil Centre, 777 Columbia St.

7. Help the Society of the Officers of the Honourable Guard clean grave stones of veterans and share stories at this year’s community event, taking place on Sunday, Nov. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fraser Cemetery, 100 Richmond St. Look for the tent in the military section of the cemetery (the lower part, south of Richmond Street.)

8. Pop in to New Westminster’s newest brewery, Another Beer Co., for the opening of a special art exhibition, High Voltage, which showcases the work of Cameron Clow, who has been working in the neon industry since 1989. The opening reception is on Friday, Nov. 1 starting at 7 p.m.  ABC is located at 30 Capilano Way.

9. Bundle up and cheer on the New Westminster Hyacks when they go up against the South Delta Sun Devils for the Kushnir Boot – and a shot at first place in the Western Conference. They’re taking to the Mercer Stadium field on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
